Even in daily situations, our muscles need 'a special care'

Physical activity can benefit us for many reasons: it helps us to achieve optimal health condition, prevents the developing of many kinds of pathologies and is useful for the treatment of many health troubles. It is healthy also emotionally, because it makes us "look better" and "feel better".

The physical activity program we choose must be adapted to every individual depending on health condition, availability of time, economic status and other factors. If we are not used to physical activity, beginning is always difficult.

It is easier if we start with easy and moderate exercise programs, like walking or using stairs, and we progressively change to activities that require bigger effort, like running and swimming.

These are some examples of moderated levels of physical activity:
  • walking 3 km (in 30 min)
  • playing volleyball (45 min)
  • dancing (not professionally, 30 min)
  • swimming (20 min)
  • playing basketball (15-20 min)
  • walking up and down stairs (15 min)
  • cleaning windows or floors (45-60 min)
  • riding a bicycle: 8 km (in 30 min)
  • rope jumping (15 min)

To reach an appropriate level of physical activity you should have a balanced diet which includes minerals and also you should follow the advice of training specialists.
