Nowadays, our mood is considered to be part of what we understand as health state. Since sport can produce an emotionally positive effect, it is very recommendable to do some sport or physical activity:sport makes us “look better” and “feel better”.
People who do not practice any sport or do not make any exercise feel heavy, their muscles are not fit and often have the feeling that they will be unable to even perform some daily activities. On the other hand, physical activity is recommended to prevent very common illnesses around us (hypertension, diabetes, arteriosclerosis, etc. It is also helpful as part of the medical early treatment, usually recommended in these situations, since it helps to control their progression and to improve the quality of life of these persons. Moreover it helps them feel better physically and mentally and it has positive effects on their recuperation.
For all these reasons it is advisable to get used to doing some physical activity and to avoid a sedentary lifestyle. If you increase your physical activity it will also increase the need for nutrients and they should be replaced in your normal diet. With a varied and balanced diet it is easy to obtain the optimum level of nutrients that our body needs, but some situations, as low calorie diets, unbalanced and monotone diets or loss of appetite as a consequence of physical or physiological difficulties, can lead to some nutrient deficiencies.Sometimes, certain periods that demand a high intellectual activity (students, pressure at work) can coincide with other problems as sleeplessness and hurries. In these situations we particularly need minerals to be able to achieve and maintain an optimum level of activity, both physical and mental, so that we can perform our daily activities avoiding fatigue and exhaustion.
