Study about the efficiency of Recuperat-ion on the increase of muscular health stability”:
When the muscle fiber carries out any type of activity, lactic acid is produced, which affects the muscular activity and in case of great accumulation can even affect its structure, provoking what is known as "stiffness", which produces annoying feelings and functional impossibility.
Considering that Recuperat-ion could have some link with this process, our company has ordered a study to the "High Sports Efficiency Studies Center" belonging to the General Sports Department from the "Generalitat de Catalunya", to find out if Recuperat-ion can help decrease the lactic acid production after a high intensity effort.
One of the studies has concluded recently, and the results are confirming this hypothesis. According to the researchers, what in scientific terms is called a "significant difference" has been detected in the reduction of lactic acid between Recuperat-ion and the placebo product. Furthermore, they point out that there exists a "significant difference" between Recuperat-ion and other beverages containing salts in different proportions from the one patented by Recuperat-ion.
This would explain as well how the proportion between its mineral salts, which is the novelty of Recuperat-ion, opens new basic research paths in the muscular health environment, for sedentary people as well as for elite sportsmen.
Although the mechanisms have not yet been described, the possibility of reducing the generation of lactic acid with Recuperat-ion, would be advantageous in all situations where the muscle is under a wearing out stress, either in sportsmen or in several pathologies.

Brief abstract:
Study on 14 moderately active volunteers, blind fold, and with a placebo of three beverages with the same characteristics of flavour, colour and smell:
One with Recuperat-ion Sugar Free
Another with mineral salts in different proportions from Recuperat-ion
Another without mineral salts
The volunteers drank the assigned beverage in two doses of 250 ml during one week, without knowing which one they were drinking. Some parameters were analysed, such as the oxygen consumption, valuation of the fatigue by means of the Borg Scale and analyses of the lactate levels in blood at 3, 5, 7 and 10 minutes of resting after an intense effort made on a jogging machine until exhausted.
In the lactate blood concentration a differential behaviour was observed between the beverages used, so that the "Recuperat-ion" beverage produced lower levels than the other beverages all along the curve.
A decrease of lactate could be related to an increase of the muscular fibre stability and a prevention of an injury.
